Our Service to the Families
Metro Agency has a good network of partner agencies in Europe with whom it has been working successfully for 30 years. They interview the young people, obtain references and medical certificates and make sure the prospective AuPair is fully aware of her responsibilities and duties before she arrives in the UK. A complete dossier with translated references is made available to the family to facilitate selection of a suitable AuPair.
We speak to most AuPairs before accepting their application to assess their level of English, as we have a minimum standard below which applications are not accepted. Furthermore, we encourage all our families to telephone their AuPairs before accepting them to get an idea of their knowledge of English.
Throughout the AuPair's stay in the UK, we offer support to our families. Free advice is available from our 30-year experience on all matters relating to having an AuPair. Our popular social activities which we organise for the young people help them to settle into their new English environment.
